Elegant stairs descend from the entry level to the main living area. Cross-breezes and tiled floors cool the room naturally. The main living area extends through two sets of folding doors to the main verandah, where comfortable rattan furniture encourages quiet reading, or social gatherings. To its left is a shady pergola.

The formal dining table seats ten easily, though in practice most meals are likely to be eaten outside. The sitting area includes Cable TV, VCR, stereo, books and games.

Each room in Raintree has a telephone and a fax machine is also available on request. Local calls are free but a phone card is required for international calls. These are readily available in shops across Tobago.
